Mark Goulston, M.D. has trained FBI and police hostage negotiators and worked with directors, executives and senior managment to more effectively achieve "buy in" from their people. He helps leaders to mobilize their people from being "ready for change" to being "ready to change."
Goulston is the author of Get Out of Your Own Way at Work (Perigee, 2006), the recent sequel to his best selling book, Get Out of Your Own Way (Perigee, 1996) and has been a UCLA professor of psychiatry for more than twenty years. He was selected as one of America's Top Psychiatrists 2004-2005 by the Washington, D.C. based Consumers' Research Council of America. Goulston writes on leadership for the National Association of Corporate Directors and Fast Company.
